Do Chilean Citizens Need a Visa to Visit USA?

In 2018, the number of inbound foreign visitors to the United States was expected to shoot up to 78 million, which was further predicted to grow and reach 89 million in 2022, says an article on Statista. Having a bilateral relationship with the US, the Republic of Chile always has had a positive opinion of America. In return, the US government officially added Chile to its Visa Waiver Program (VWP), excluding Chileans from having to apply for a visa to visit USA.

Insanely diverse landscapes, plenty of national parks, waterfalls, canyons, lakes, towns and cities and a melting pot of cultures, ethnicities and languages truly make USA the most desirable country to holiday at.

How can Chile Citizens Travel to USA

All citizens of Chile, who wish to enter the US, for leisure or business purposes are required to apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). The ESTA is an electronic system to determine the eligibility of an individual to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program.
